Futura

Variable K is pleased to collaborate with the Giulio Rodinò Primary and Middle School and the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum for the Futura Project, an educational initiative aimed at contrasting school dropout rates.

Through a series of laboratory and creative activities, conducted both within the school and at the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum, students are engaged in an immersive journey into the history and daily life of ancient Romans.

Our commitment with Futura is to make history accessible to students, stimulating their curiosity and offering them a unique opportunity to explore the habits and traditions of ancient Herculaneum residents. From meals to cosmetics, from sports to jewelry, every aspect of Roman life is analyzed and discussed, promoting critical thinking and cultural enrichment.

Through participation in this project, students develop a renewed sense of belonging to their community and gain greater awareness of the historical richness of the surrounding area. This educational process not only strengthens the bond between the new generations and the local heritage but also emphasizes the importance of its preservation and valorization for the benefit of future generations.

Our ultimate goal with Futura Project is to create a bridge between the past and the present, following the principles promoted by UNESCO regarding dialogue between cultural heritage and the community.
