- First phase: Creation of wooden seats using recycled materials (donated by local companies) and setup of the "chit-chatt" area (a place for gathering and socializing) with atmospheric lights and a photo board behind the seats.
- Second phase: Painting of the Campetto area and creation, using colored lines, of a basketball court with the "Noi Granellino" logo in the center.
Results:
- Creation of a multifunctional and welcoming space for the parish youth, suitable for socializing and sports activities.
- Development of active citizenship and participation skills, along with manual abilities in all phases of implementing practical interventions: from design to budget management and creation.
- Enhancement of the sense of community belonging and care for the territory.
The Participatory Architecture Workshop "Aret 'A Villetta" demonstrates how participatory architecture can contribute to the improvement of community spaces, fostering sociality, a sense of belonging and care for the territory.
