"A' Ruana - Community Cinema" is an activity organised by Variabile K and the Municipality of Herculaneum in collaboration with the MAV Virtual Archaeological Museum. It consists of six evenings dedicated to open air cinema in the unique setting of the market area, a' Ruana, in the heart of Ercolano. The Cinema was organized at the request of the local community and meets the need to create moments of social aggregation filling the void of theatres in town.
This initiative brings together people of different ages in a local and urban setting, a' Ruana, an area that has experienced a rebirth thanks to the enthusiasm and shared commitment of its citizens during the tactical urbanism project designed by Variabile K and Rotary Club Ercolano. During the six evenings, the square will transform itself into a meeting place for families, friends and neighbours. It becomes a place where to share moments of culture and entertainment and enjoy a variety of movies, most of which were selected by the community itself through various polls on Variabile K's social channels.
'A Ruana - Community Cinema was made possible thanks to the support of Europictures, the technical sponsor of the event.
